Solve the 2x2x2 in DBL. You could do this as a square, like in Roux, then insert DB with R/r/F/U moves. Then solve the next block in DBR. Then the edges to orient are on the F/U layers, so they’re easier to see and it’s also easier to orient them that way. You should then rotate after EO so the block is on DL (yes, rotating is the best thing to do) and 2-gen stuff.
